Billing and plans
Organization subscriptions, the Starter, Pro, and Max plans, seat-based pricing, and usage-alert emails.
Billing is handled per organization through Stripe subscriptions. An organization picks a plan, and that plan governs how many projects it can run and how many seats it includes.
Plans
There are three plans:
- Starter — the entry-level plan.
- Pro — a higher tier with more capacity.
- Max — the top tier.
Pricing is seat-based: each plan includes a per-seat cost, so what you pay reflects both the plan and the number of members on it.
The Starter hard limit
Starter enforces a hard limit. Once an organization on Starter reaches its plan limits, creating new projects is blocked until the organization upgrades to a higher-tier plan. Pro and Max are the higher tiers you upgrade into for more capacity.
Knowing you're approaching a limit
The system sends usage-alert emails as your organization consumes its plan. Alerts fire at 70%, 90%, and 100% of plan usage, so you get advance warning well before hitting the ceiling — and a final notice when you reach it. If you're on Starter and hit 100%, that's when new project creation stops until you upgrade.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, the system sends payment-failure emails so you can update your billing details and keep the subscription active.
Managing billing and seats
Billing and seats are managed at the organization level. Open your organization's settings and go to its billing page to review the current plan, manage seats, and change plans. Because billing is org-scoped, these settings live with the organization rather than with an individual project.
