Quickstart
Sign in, create your first project, and land in the chat where setup happens.
This quickstart gets you from signing in to a working project in a few minutes.
1. Sign in
Sign in to ePlan.ai. Sign-in happens on the main ePlan.ai app. New users can sign up from the same page. Once you're in, you land on your dashboard.
Signing in also creates your personal workspace automatically — your own organization and office, where your projects live.
2. Create a project
From the dashboard, create a new project. The project is created as a draft in your personal workspace, and you're taken straight into its Chat view.
3. Set the project up through chat
Chat is where setup happens. You describe what you're working on, and the AI helps you get the project going. An optional research agent can propose a starting point — suggested documents, milestones, tasks, and fields — which you review and save (or adjust) rather than accepting blindly.
From there you can move to the other feature modules in the sidebar — tasks, map, documents, signing, and so on — to fill in the rest of the project.
Alternative: start from a catalog template
Instead of starting from scratch, you can begin from the public catalog (the Projects entry in the site menu). The catalog is a read-only browse of government organizations, offices, projects, and templates — no account required to look.
If you're signed in, a Create from template action appears on templates. Using it creates a project from that template and drops you into it inside the main app. If you're logged out, you'll be asked to sign in or sign up first.
